You are introduced to TQM tools, techniques, models, and strategy. You come to understanding the importance and implementation of the Department of Defense 5000.51-G TQM guidelines. You review and critique the Deming and Baldridge Awards, as well as the principles and practices of concurrent engineering, quality function, deployment and design for cost. To sharpen your skills, you become part of a team analyzing the concepts and techniques in a TQM case study.
