Thomas Brantle is a Telecommunications Systems Engineer and Account Executive
Tom Brantle is an Affiliate Faculty member in the Telecommunications Management Program at Stevens, as well as a Ph.D. student in Technology Management with a concentration in Telecommunications Management. Tom Brantle's telecommunications industry experience spans 17 years; 13 years with Bell Communications Research (Bellcore, now known as Telcordia Technologies) as a Sr. Systems Engineer across Bellcore's Technology Systems, Professional Services and Software Systems Divisions, and 4 years as a Sr. Account Executive in Lucent Technologies Worldwide Sales Global Account Management Division. While at Bellcore he authored numerous telecommunications industry Requirements (Generic Requirements (GRs), Technical References (TRs) and Technical Advisories (TAs)) published in the public domain. He received his B.S. in Mathematics and Computer Science from S.U.N.Y. at Cortland, an M.S. in Computer Science and Statistics from the University of Rhode Island, an M.A. in Statistics and Operations Research from the Pennsylvania State University, and has completed an additional sixty credits toward the Ph.D. including the M.S.M. in Technology Management degree requirements. He is presently engaged in doctoral dissertation research in the area of telecommunications and technology clusters. Additionally he holds the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
