Outstanding Teacher in the Howe School Terence Stoeckert

Terence Stoeckert is an Affiliate Associate Professor in the Wesley J. Howell School of Technology Management. He first taught at Stevens Institute in 1978 and subsequently held positions at The Cooper Union For the Advancement of Science and Art in New York and at The University of Redlands in California before returning to Stevens in 1990. His research interests have included a comparison of Macro-Econometric forecasting models, a study of Job Design, Job Complexity, & Worker Satisfaction, and a study of the Mexican Machine Tool Industry. Besides his teaching and research, he has also run a computer business, served as a consultant to several small businesses, and been active in real estate development. He was recently awarded an Outstanding Teacher of the Year Award in the Howe School. He holds a B.S. In Electrical Engineering from Manhattan College and an MA in Economics from The New School for Social Research.
