This online, instructor-led Master's program covers design, deployment, maintenance, and upgrade of information systems. Emerge with broad knowledge of information repositories, data networks, user interfaces, security and assurance, multimedia, and other systems. With your understanding of the end-to-end aspects of networked information systems, you will be able to integrate both hardware and software components to create a contemporary system. As a Master of Engineering in Networked Information Systems, you understand not only general engineering principles and the mathematical and analytical reasoning underlying them, but also practical issues impacting the system.

To earn your Master’s in Networked Information Systems, you must complete 30 graduate credits, including the course, Introduction to Networked Information Systems, three courses from the “Core,” three from one of the “Concentrations,” plus four electives drawn from among them. You may also make special arrangements to take no more than two courses outside these programs. Five to ten of your 30 credits may be earned by preparing a significant thesis demonstrating your competence in an area of electrical engineering.
