This course presents both the basic physics and the practical technology associated with such methods as X-ray computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, functional MRI and spectroscopy, ultrasonic (echocardiography, Doppler flow), nuclear medicine (Gallium, PET and SPECT scans) and optical methods.
