Ira Sack is an Associate Professor of Management who has been teaching full time at Stevens for over 25 years. For many years, he has taught and been active in the Stevens executive information management programs at such firms as AT&T, Smith Bartney, UBS, Prudential, and Merck as well as the MSIS, MS in IM and Ph.D in Information Management programs. He has authored numerous research publications in diverse areas including organizational architecture and design, databases and information systems, business foundations of e-commerce, business and information modeling, and mathematical logic. He is a coauthor of the well-acclaimed book, Organization Modeling: Innovative Architectures for the 21st Century. Prior to his acadmic career he was a Member of Technical Staff at Bell Laboratories. He has twice served as a summer research fellow, grant recipient, and consultant for NASA . Professor Sack earned his Ph.D. from Stevens in Computer Science.
