Technology Expert Behzad Maghami

Behzad Maghami, who teaches telecommunication management, technology management, and mathematics and computer networking at Stevens, received his B.S. in Physics from University of Isfahan, his M.S. in Solid State Physics from Michigan State University, and his Ph.D. in Nuclear Control Reactions from Florida State University. He is a Certified Electronics Technician in Computer and Communication from International Society of Certified Electronics Technicians. Earlier, he taught physics, computer networking and mathematics at California State University, Florida A&M University, George Washington University, and other schools. Dr. Maghami was also Director of Computer Department at Associated Technical College. In industry, he was E xecutive Project Manager for Tehran Metro, specializing in c ontrol, communication, signaling, and fare collection, working together with such firms as Alcatel, ABB, and Siemens, among others. At Tehran Metro, he was also Site Electronics Engineer.
